« Haus Tumbuna » is a social enterprise and a commissioned documentary film set in Ulingan Bay, Papua New Guinea, which documents the creation of a self-sustaining wooden surfboard factory rooted in the local culture. The project, founded by Nickolas Kirriwom and Nicholas Wynnychuk, aims to decolonise cultural impacts, encourage cultural renewal, support healing and highlight the connection between community, culture, spirituality and the natural world, through the sustainable practice of building traditional ocean-going vessels.
