Here, it shares Tom Wegener’s story as a master shaper based in the Australian community, where he makes amazing traditional handmade wooden surfboards. He’s an icon as both a shaper and an all-around character. “It’s like a symphony as you peel the wood off with your hand tools,” he says. “And there’s so much to the character of every piece of wood.”
